Information

Moguro Hagane (モグロ・ハガネ) is the Eighth ranking Divine General of the Sacred Vollachia Empire. They are a living meteor who governs the Imperial Capital of Lupugana's Crystal Palace.

Appearance[]

Moguro usually appears as a large being who is nearly three meters tall. They have a thick body and long limbs that are covered with a hard bronze substance, which is of an inorganic mineral. Their head is a large bronze helmet with green glass in the center and green vertical highlights. They also have several green orbs which resemble mana stones that are attached to the joints around its body and feet.

Personality[]

Moguro is a reserved individual who speaks in a monotone voice and limits their words, which makes it hard to understand their thoughts. They most often express themselves through combat and even offer words of praise to their opponents. Although Moguro is a meteor who is influenced by the one who sits on the Crystal Palace's throne,[1] this does not stop them from being friends with people like Groovy and having an unspecified wish of their own.

History[]

At an unknown point in time, the Crystal Palace and the meteor controlling it from within were created. After its construction, due to the high density of mana absorbed by the rare mana stones used in the citadel's makeup, the meteor controlling the Crystal Palace eventually gained a spirit.[2] The living meteor would later come to be named Moguro Hagane, and in order to hide their true identity from all but a select few within the Empire, Moguro began to proclaim themselves as the Steelman and took advantage of their appearance to appear as a member of the Steelfolk tribe.[3]

Roughly four to five months before Arc 1, a rebellion in Vollachia was started by Gramdart Holstoy and Balleroy Temeglyph. Together, Moguro and Groovy Gumlet were dispatched from the Imperial Capital of Lupugana by Goz Ralfon to retrieve the Emperor, Vincent Vollachia, while Cecilus Segmunt left on his own accord to accomplish the task. Vincent was kidnapped by Reinhard van Astrea, Julius Juukulius, and Ferris, then in the Empire to negotiate a non-aggression pact alongside Council of Wise Men members Miklotov McMahon and Bordeaux Zellgef. Although Moguro initially took Ferris captive, the Sword Saint later freed him and began turning the tables against the two generals, which allowed for the other two knights to escape with Vincent. Moguro and Groovy were later forced to retreat from Reinhard due to his sheer power, and after running to Cecilus, Reinhard was given a chance to render the Blue Lightning unconscious, forcing the pair into submission and causing them to fall back with the unconscious general. After the rebellion was quelled, Moguro met with Vincent in Lupugana's Crystal Palace alongside Groovy, Goz, and Chisha Gold, where they discussed the incident.

Abilities[]

Colossal Toughness: Moguro's body possesses enough strength that they can easily kill their opponents with a glancing blow and their attacks can send shockwaves of earth to crush opponents with ease. It has been said that around the world, Reinhard may be the only person who is capable of breaking Moguro's hard metal with his bare hands.

Whirlwind Fighting Style: Moguro can drill with both of their hands as well as by spinning their huge body at incredible speeds. They can move underground as easily as a fish in water can. Using this technique, Moguro overtakes their opponents by hiding underground. The whirlwind style allows the general to perform techniques that are fatal to humans with colossal strength.

Reconstruction: Moguro can alter the shape of their body to various sizes and shapes. They can change the structure of a body part, such as a limb, into something more sharp or deal, they can elongate themselves to a colossal size, or they can even change the form of their external body into the bastions surrounding the Imperial Capital. As long as Moguro's true body, the Crystal Palace of Lupugana itself, is intact, they cannot be completely defeated.[4]

However, that was not the case in reality, and Moguro took advantage of their own outward appearance, as well as the special trait of lacking involvement with others from the Steelfolk tribe, and was an existence who merely self-proclaimed themselves as the Steelman.
